"I don't normally find it easy to get stuck in to a book but this one spared no challenge. Wonderfully tense and realistic, hence why I haven't been able to sit alone with the lights off since I put it down. I don't know what i'll do when I've finished this one, the only other horror writer I have enjoyed is Stephen King, so well done Janine-Langley Wood!"

"A great new horror novel, with exactly the right portrait of a realistic setting. The earthy base really allows the extreme supernatural terror to take off, and the touches of humour trick you into relaxing just before the next onslaught. Very powerful."

"Loved this book! The world of this story was totally real and easy to visualize. I read it so fast I felt like I was living in it which made it all the more creepy and terrifying at times. Loved the monster, totally original, also the gangsters, some great banter there. And not a zombie in sight!. I laughed and cried. Looking forward to a sequel!!!"
